**Key Responsibilities**:

- This role is to provide a secure working environment, resilient to malevolent forces.
- Secure operations are dependent upon employee participation, commitment, and accountability, maintaining the highest levels of security to prevent unauthorized access, whilst allowing authorized persons to go about their business.
- Security Officer will be based in a Gatehouse with welfare facilities
- Monitor, record access/egress of vehicles and visitors
- Welcome visitors to site and induct drivers on site driving requirements
- Only authorised people (i.e., those with a legitimate purpose) have access to the building/site.
- All incidents of unauthorised access are notified immediately to the local incident response team and reported to the police.
- Patrols - regular patrols to ensure security of site and deter criminal activity
- All incidents, reportable issues, observations etc. must be logged in Daily Occurrence Book and Incident Report raised to be seen by FRG Operations Manager and client Site Manager.
- All security incidents are recorded and reported in a timely fashion to ensure lessons learnt are appropriately captured.
- Responsible for site health and safety out of hours and main point of contact for emergency services.

**Requirements**:

- Essential:_
- Valid Frontline SIA licence.
- 1 Year experience preferred
- Commitment to providing first-class customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability.
- Punctuality
- Excellent verbal communication
