The
- **Tooling Storekeeper** will
- _Take Responsibility _ensuring that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, whilst adhering to published Engineering procedures and operating to a high standard in relation to aircraft safety. The
- **Tooling Storekeeper **will also:
- Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensure any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration
- You will take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard
- Maintain records of all transactions in a diligent and accurate manner
- Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers
- Ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately
- Uphold the Tooling departments Mission Statement of **_‘Right Tool, Right Time, Right Place’_**

**What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?**
- Have excellent organisation and Communication skills, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment is always maintained
- You will have experience of working with Tooling equipment and ideally have a good understanding of the aviation sector
- Knowledge of tooling/stores processes
- You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset
- Be flexible and willing to support the needs of the operation
- Have excellent attention to detail

After a period of training, it is expected that the
- **Tooling Storekeeper** will work on
- **2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern**.
