**What you’ll be doing**

You will be providing professional Health, Safety, and Well-being advice in London to management and employees. You will be responsible for advising on some of the key projects required to facilitate the significant capital investment programs within Thames Water.
Your role will be to support the head of to deliver the TW Safety, Health, and Wellbeing Strategy, and ensure compliance with TW SH&W management system, standards, processes, and procedures.

** Health Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner **your role is to provide technical, problem-solving expert support both on-site and remotely.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Deliver and monitor performance against the Safety, Health, and Wellbeing strategy and objectives, system, standards, processes, and procedures.- Advise stakeholders which will include Wholesale and support service staff and contractors on Safety, Health, and Wellbeing matters including compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practice by liaising with enforcing authorities and professional groups.- Raise awareness in the business and delivery of training in line with the annual training plan outside of core H&S team training.- Lead and undertake audits/inspections and incident investigations, identify non-compliance, root cause analysis, risks and agree action list/ plan with the site management, and report statistical information as required.- Assist in the review and agreement process of safe systems of work and risk assessments where there is a significant risk to safety and environment.- Assist with technical advice on chemical storage/use inc Toxic gas- Assist with advice on some of the company’s high-risk sites that come under the COMAH regulations- Assist with the enabling of confined space sewer entries and ensuring safe and secure isolations are provided.**We’re looking for you to**

- Technical knowledge of the water industry would be advantageous, with a strong experience of construction activities and knowledge of CDM.- In-depth knowledge of Safety, Health, and Wellbeing legislation- Delivery of successful local Safety, Health, and Wellbeing programs with a customer focus- Relevant work experience in a technical discipline- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal and able to communicate with senior business leaders.- General IT literacy- Full UK Driving license- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH.)**What’s in it for you?**
