We are a dynamic food production company, committed to delivering high-quality food products while maintaining the highest safety, hygiene, and quality standards. We are looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient production, assembly, and packing of food products. Your role will involve ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with product specifications, company standards, and safety procedures. **SHIFT PATTERN: 40 hours per week (over 5 days)** Monday to Saturday on a rotating shift pattern 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm **PAY RATE**: £12.30 per hour **BENEFITS**: - Company pension - Life insurance - Health Cash Plan - 28 days holiday entitlement per year (inclusive of bank holidays) - On-site parking - Referral programme - Free Fruit every Wednesday - Free soup and a roll every Friday - Free food / activity events throughout the year - £50 Voucher up for grabs every month for "Shout out" of the month - Company annual bonus scheme **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Production & Quality Control: Complete tasks in line with company procedures, ensuring all food products meet the required specifications and quality standards. - Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following hygiene protocols. - Continuous Improvement: Participate in efforts to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality within the production process. - Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to meet daily targets while maintaining product quality and ensuring food safety. - Equipment Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently, following all relevant training and procedures. - Documentation & Reporting: Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner for all relevant tasks, and report any issues or hazards to the Team Leader. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £12.30 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week **Benefits**: - Company pension - Life insurance - On-site parking - Referral programme Ability to commute/relocate: - Newmarket: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
