FM and Property Category Manager - Essex (with home working) - £45,000-£52,000 + Package - Procurement Transformation Projects
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Designing category plans for the FM category - focusing on spend areas such as soft and hard services, M&E (Mechanical and Electrical), HVAC (Heating Ventilation and AC) and FF&E (Furnitures Fixtures and Equipment)
- Sourcing and managing engineering suppliers for new builds
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and managing the end-to-end procurement process for the FM category
- Reviewing existing suppliers' contracts, negotiating costs and services and sourcing new suppliers to ensure value for money and efficiency for the organisation
Key skills and experience required:
- Experience within the FM Procurement Category of strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier management within a public sector procurement environment
- Must have previous public sector procurement knowledge and experience running OJEU compliant tenders
- Experience with architects and property consultants/construction. Ideally will have subcontracts experience of FDIC or NEC3
- Team management skills and excellent communication and leadership skills to work cross functionally
- Excellent at negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
