We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Enrolment and Engagement Officer to support the Division to ensure processes and controls are in place to assess the acceptability of 3rd party agencies for supply of staff to Kent CC via Connect2Kent and our jointventure partnering Authorities, through separate procurement and agency supplier usage.

The post holder will support the Connect2Kent Business Manager and the Business Managers for our joint venture partnerships with the ongoing monitoring of agencies to quality and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, using the data providedby the Quality Assurance & Compliance team, for regular audits, to support regular in person and remote reviews.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Work with the Commercial Services Group Procurement team to establish a compliant framework process for new suppliers.
- Mobilise large scale (up to 100) new suppliers to a new Dynamic Purchasing System framework for new joint ventures for the Division.
- Evaluate and record all submissions to set criteria within the legislative timeline.
- Produce relevant written confirmation of award or decline, providing sufficient feedback for the latter.
- Ensure signed contractual terms and conditions before notifying operational teams of availability to supply.
- Set up all suppliers in line with our onboarding and financial check lists including credit checks are completed and ensuring agency portal access has been provided to each supplier.
- Manage all verbal and written communication relating to supplier queries and contractual changes.

**What we are looking for**:

- Working knowledge of contract law with experience of drafting, negotiating and managing contracts
- Dealing with the interaction between internal service requirements and supplier engagement
- Experience of managing a tender process and/or contract negotiation
- Experience of defining, measuring, and improving key elements of supplier performance
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
