Job Introduction
We are looking for a Clothing & Textiles Designer to join our Licensing Design team at our Liverpool Head Office.

In this role, you will develop product and packaging designs for our seasonal and everyday ranges, working closely with the Senior Designer and licensors such as Disney, Warner Bros, and many more.

You will primarily work on Clothing and Home Textiles, ensuring all designs adhere to licensing and branding guidelines while being commercially viable and on-trend.

Job Overview
- Manage a range of design requests, ensuring all designs and artwork are delivered on time, signed off, and compliant with licensor and product standards (critical path).
- Create visuals, artwork, and technical packs for products and/or packaging, ready for review and approval.
- Develop and finalise artwork for production, ensuring alignment with style guides, regulations, and branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with product approval specialists, suppliers, and buyers to resolve design and packaging challenges.
- Oversee the transition of final designs into production with suppliers.
- Regularly review personal performance objectives and KPIs with your line manager and take action on development areas.
- Conduct market research through competitor analysis, store visits, trade shows, and consumer trend research to inform design and category planning.
- Stay up to date with licensor guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Recommend and support process improvements within the Graphics function.
- Mentor and provide support to Junior Designers within the team and the wider Graphics function.
- Work collaboratively with the Licensing Design team, Buying team, Licensors, Safety & Compliance team, and third-party suppliers.

Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Previous experience in a Textile or Clothing Design role.
- Degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience of working in a retail product design team.
- Strong creative skills with an eye for detail.
- Customer-focused and commercially aware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
