The Crown Hastings is an independent, family run, award-winning freehouse on the South Coast of England in Hastings near the sea. Focused on high quality homemade food using local, seasonal ingredients such as fish caught in the local seas and meat from surrounding farms. Our drinks include a wide selection of local gins, european wine and top beer mainly from local breweries. The Crown were the Observer Food Monthly award 'Best Place to Drink' and we have consistently featured in the Good Food Guide and pride ourselves on our quality food, drink and service.

Our team comprises of 30 staff working a mixture of part time and full time hours.

We are looking for:

- a front of house team member who is passionate about food and drink and hospitality.
- a permanent member of staff - we are recruiting for full time and part time roles
- Flexible start date.
- Hospitality experience is desired but not essential
- We are looking for an energetic, inspired & passionate individual.

The role will include:

- working evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays
- The Crown is open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. The shifts can start anytime from 9am.
- Learning about the food and drink and having an indepth knowledge of local suppliers
- High levels of customer service, waiting tables, using our booking software, dealing with events.
- working closely with the wider team in the kitchen
