Seeking experienced Press Operators for a full-time temp to perm opportunity in the East Birmingham area, with free parking, overtime opportunities and professional development.
You would be joining a well renowned manufacturing hub who are major players in producing precision components for the automotive, aerospace and construction industries.
As an experienced Power Press Operator you will be responsible for running a number of machines ranging from 30 ton to 300 ton and using a range of measuring tools to quality inspect first on/ last offs.
Your rate of pay will fall between £9.60 and £9.90 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a £20 weekly bonus for AM shifts and a £50 weekly bonus for PM shifts.
Hours of work for our Press Operator role will be 0800-1630 (Monday to Friday) with the strong likelihood of moving to 0600-1400/ 1400-2200 rotating shifts in the near future.

- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety best practice
- Have relevant experience as a hydraulic / fly press operator (crank-powered machinists only are unlikely to be considered)
- Have a good eye for detail
- Have a knowledge of preparing tooling and blanks
- Are interested in developing your skills as a setter, tool changeovers etc.
