Weald, United Kingdom Cambridgeshire County Council Full time

We are looking for a full time Recruitment Advisor to join our expanding Recruitment Team.

Constant innovation and implementation of new ideas will be essential to your success in recruiting to a multitude of different roles across the authority.

You will have strong organisational and administrative skills and be a confident communicator.

A creative flair is a must as you will be required to create and post content across our social media platforms. This is an opportunity for you to influence the Cambridgeshire County Council social media pages and have your content viewed by a wide audience. You will also have the freedom to implement other fresh and innovative ways to advertise our roles.

Prior experience in recruitment and/or local government would be useful, but is by no means essential. An inquisitive nature, positive ‘can do’ attitude and being solution focused are much more valuable to this role.

You will work with a range of services, principally social care, tackling some of the most crucial roles that support our community.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a raft of exciting projects and initiatives which will facilitate our objective to be recognised as an employer of choice, where staff aspire to join and choose to remain.

In return you will join a dynamic team who are changing the way recruitment happens in the Council through adopting new ways of working. This is a real opportunity to share your ideas and to make a difference.

With a generous annual leave allowance, a great pension scheme, agile working and a supportive team you will have the opportunity to be part of the change.

The role is offered on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to work from home initially, but your formal work base will at the new, purpose built council offices in Alconbury Weald. We offer flexible working arrangements, but some travel across Cambridgeshire will be required.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
