As the Smart Choice Metering team continues its exciting growth, we have two new and exciting roles as an Auditor available.

Based within the areas of South East & South West, you will oversee a team of up to 15 engineers ensuring the Safety and Compliance of the team is maintained and reported as required.

**Location**:South West
**Grade/Salary Range**:Competitive base salary of £35,500

**Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Conducting post installation quality assurance inspections on meter installations
- Carry out work in progress inspections on installers and providing constructive feedback
- Highlight areas where additional support is required with recommendations during a work in progress inspection
- Identifying and reporting/rectifying poor workmanship or unsafe situations
- Where required supporting the operational team in metering tasks and logístical movements
- Assisting the Field Managers and compliance Manager by conducting post incident site investigations and gathering vital evidence for the investigation
- Leading investigation interviews with engineers
- Identifying common issues/trends in the field and feeding these back to the compliance Manager
- Assisting the HSEQ Manager by delivering important safety training to the teams
- Hosting allocated on-site coaching days to bring engineers levels of workmanship up to company standards
- Conducting on site progress reports on engineers who have been through additional training
- Completing fortnightly technical help desk days
- Covering dinner breaks for auditors on their tech help desk requirement
- Executing random smart manometer audits

**Skills and Experience**:

- Required_
- Must hold all relevant Gas qualifications including either CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1, Dual Fuel Smart Meter Diploma Level 2 *
- Must hold Electrical qualifications including MOCoP Single Phase
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Smart Meter Installer
- Full driving with less than 6 points
- All certificates and qualifications must be valid for minimum 6 months from your start date
- Desirable_
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- MET4 qualification
- Gas medium pressure qualification
- Any further Electrical Qualifications
- Electrical 3 phase MOCoP experience
- Valid EUSR card *
- Previous experience as a field auditor or similar role
