Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust At Risk Mental State (ARMS) Wellbeing Practitioner We are excited to announce that with the new mental health transformation funding we will be launching a service aimed at identifying and supportingindividuals who are vulnerable to developing psychosis (At Risk Mental State). The ARMS team is a preventative mental health team support young people aged 14-35 years old. It is a psychologically led service designed to prevent or delay the transition topsychosis.This newly commissioned service is looking to recruit a wellbeing practitioner (qualified social worker/ mental health nurse/OT). We are looking for someone with a passion for preventative mental health, who is dynamic, and driven to develop mentalhealth services. The successful candidate will be working in East & North Hertfordshire and based in Stevenage.As a psychologically led service you will work closely with the CBT therapists and psychologists to formulate individual's care, to provide an effectivemultidisciplinary team approach. The ARMS service will also work alongside the PATH Team (Early Intervention in Psychosis Service) to ensure active, accessible care for the individuals. We will maintain links with other services in HPFT and the wider community.Deliveringthe ARMS pathway will give professionals the chance to develop and shape ways of working. Our vision is to work flexibly and creatively with individuals to be able to achieve their goals, and incite self-reliance and independence, whilst supporting to helpbuild their lives. You'll be working with people who come with a variety of needs, at various stages of their mental health journey and recovery.We offer the development of leadership skills via our bespoke leadership training, high quality profession specificsupport and opportunities to learn the most effective supervision and personal coaching approaches.You'll be an important part of an innovative, creative, and developing service.
