**Job Overview**

We conduct inspiring STEM workshops at Primary Schools and are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Become an Assistant at our Aveea Academy Workshops, held after school from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at local primary schools.

**The Role**

We are after team members to join us to help inspire Primary aged children (5-11 year olds), into the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). **Full training will be given.**
- Location: Primarily based in **Harrow, Pinner, and Northwood**, with the added opportunity to work in **exciting areas like Marylebone, Hackney, and Stratford** as well

Your Lead Educator will provide all necessary materials and a comprehensive lesson plan for the workshop. Your role is to assist the Lead Educator, bringing your enthusiasm and a touch of magic to help inspire the students.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting our Educators during STEM workshops.
- Helping children complete challenges like making slime, building bridges, coding with robots and making ice cream.
- Bringing your enthusiasm and fun attitude to create a vibrant, positive learning atmosphere.

**What We're Looking For**
- Experience or familiarity with working with children. While not mandatory, it's definitely a plus (this can include babysitting or work experience placements).
- Students currently undertaking A-Levels or in University.
- A genuine passion to positively impact young lives.
- Must be available during **Primary School** term time - from September to July (these dates differ to University Term Time)

- **Job Type**: Part-time, (2-6 hours per week)
- **When**: Primary School Term Time
- **Salary**: £9.00 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- **Learning on the Job**: With us, every day is a new lesson. We train you while you work
- **Location**:This role is based in London, with work locations including Harrow and Pinner. Flexibility in travel between these and other areas is required.

**Transport and Logistics**
- Travel expenses covered, with additional pay based on distance traveled.
- Compensation increases for longer trips, reflecting time and effort.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £9.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus scheme
