**Lynx Services Limited are recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client is looking to recruit Refuse Loaders in ESHER Kt10 8AS with an immediate start.**
- Full time
- Working in a team
- Overtime and Weekends Available
- No Experience Required as will be Inducted prior to starting work
- Must be Physically fit and able to walk approximately 5 miles a day
**Pay Rate**
£10.12 Per Hour - Payable Weekly
Rising after 12 Weeks
**Job Purpose**
- To be a member of a team responsible for the removal of all types of waste or recycling, whether in plastic sacks, various sizes of wheeled bins, loose, items of bulky waste from all properties as directed.
- To deliver waste products where necessary including but not limited to a diverse range of wheeled bins, boxes and plastic sacks.
**Responsibilities**
- To contribute, individually and as part of the team to the delivery of a high quality, professional collection service to all domestic and commercial properties as directed.
- To be responsible for gaining access to waste bins from commercial and domestic premises to ensure collections are completed; securing the premises following collection.
- To ensure that that all collections are completed on the designated day in a professional and courteous manner.
- To report any contaminated bins or access issues to the designated driver
- To strictly adhere to all relevant Health & Safety legislation, Safe working practices and procedures within both Council premises and their partners.
- To be polite and courteous at all times and to wear designated company uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as provided.
- To ensure that collections are carried out in a safe and tidy manner, that split or spilled waste has been cleared and that containers are returned in a presentable fashion at the point of presentation and not blocking vehicle access.
- To act as Banksmen when requested by the driver when manoeuvring in restricted areas, lookout during reversing operations and ensure the driver is made aware of any dangers which could develop i.e. other road users, parked cars, children and pedestrians
- To ensure an effective customer focus service delivery by being polite and courteous at all times and answering residents queries as and when required.
- To undertake any appropriate training as and when required.
- To work weekends, Bank Holidays, other Public Holidays and weekends at Christmas and New Year as and when required.
