**A little bit about what we are looking for...**

As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will be carrying out site surveys/inspections and to collect accurate stock condition survey data using a hand-held PDA or tablet device. Liaising with the repairs team, neighbourhood officers, residents and contractors where required, reporting all health and safety, non-compliant or urgent works that is required to be acted upon.

We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training. It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too

**Your responsibilities...**
- Liaise with Repairs, Neighbourhood Officers, residents and contractors while carrying out site surveys to report any repairs that are required to the stock or communal areas. Photos and description will need to be passed to the relevant teams in order for an effective repair to take place
- Ensure the well-being of others in accordance with PA’s health and safety policy; identifying any areas of non-compliance with regards to Fire, asbestos, legionella, electrical etc. Being responsible and accountable to ensure the areas of risk are dealt with to completion
- Work with the Assets team to ensure the hierarchy of the housing system is correct and fully up to date, including identifying and confirming corrective action where anomalies exist
- Support the Stock Investment team to target areas that require upgrades or need to be a higher priority than previously recorded
- Highlight properties to the Stock Investment team where the life expectancy of the components is less than previously recorded
- Provide advice and assistance in relation to all maintenance and stock condition matters.
- Ensure that the stock condition and attributes data is updated in a timely manner following the completion of maintenance programmes and the addition of new stock in both Northgate and the Keystone asset management system

You will have experience of building diagnosis, defects identification as well as experience of housing maintenance and other building projects of varying nature and scale. We'll be looking for you to have used a computerised repairs system before, and be able to use hand held devices competently. It would also be great for you to have knowledge of building construction and components and progression towards a professional building or surveying qualification would be a bonus

**Salary**: £37,903.00 per year
