**Branch Manager**

An experienced **Branch Manager**with a hands-on mentality is required to join a small but successful branch of a family-run**distributor** with extensive experience of **supplying automotive, industrial, marine and leisure markets** across the Southwest.

As a **Branch Manager**you will oversee the day to running of the branch, taking a **hands-on approach** to sales, customer service, warehousing and delivery. You will manage an established and experienced team, fostering a positive environment and ensuring customer satisfaction and successful branch operation.

**Branch Based - Commutable from -**_Exeter, Exminster, Cowley, Longdown, Dunchideock, Rewe, Woodbury, Crediton, Ashcombe, Cockwood, Lympstone, Pinhoe_** **From £26,000 dependent upon experience + branch based performance bonus + pension + 20 days holiday plus bank holidays + full product training**
- Previous **supervisor / management** experience is required, ideally in a distribution or wholesale environment.
- Hands on **sales** experience and the ability to develop business relationships.
- An understanding of **branch operations**.
- A **technical aptitude** with the ability and willingness to learn, retain and relay product information.

**The Role**
- Provide **training, coaching development and motivation** to the team.
- Be aware of and assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
- Direct all **operational aspects** including distribution operations.
- Liaise with buying and distribution teams at head office to ensure correct **inventory levels** are maintained.
- Manage branch **health and safety** requirements in line with HSE legislation and company health and safety policies.
- Work with the management team to **achieve branch targets**.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions to leverage **growth opportunities.**:

- Demonstrate a hands-on approach providing support and assistance across all areas of the branch.
