If so, Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a Bolton based secondary school looking to recruit an ambitious Graduate Support Mentor to join their internal support provisions until the end of the academic year.

**Key role highlights**:

- Full time Graduate Support Mentor - ASAP.

- Previous experience working with children and young people is highly advantageous.
- Develop your practical experience working within a classroom setting and working alongside supportive staff members.
- Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester.
- Paying up to £85+ a day.

**About the school**:In a recent OFSTED report, the school was highly praised for the dedication to integrate children with challenging behaviour into school life in a positive and effective way. Teachers are supported through a dedicated network of support staff to ensure all children are thriving and are happy in their school life.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Establish and promote positive relationships with young people and other members of staff/parents, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and setting out learning materials and equipment for planned activities.
- Managing a classroom, supporting students in their learning through prepared work.
- Full clear instructions and resources for each lesson provided
- Maintain a positive climate for learning, a quiet working environment, ensuring good order and helping students to learn independently.
- Demonstrate motivation, compassion, and the ability to support the teaching and learning of young people.
- Full support provided from internal support team and your education consultant.

**Salary**: £85.00-£95.00 per day
