Ignata Finance are exclusively working with an exciting and forward-thinking business based in Horsham for the recruitment of a newly created Finance Analyst. This is a role where you will be given an opportunity to really hone your skills. This role isa 6 month contract initially, that can lead to a permanent role as the business continues to grow.
There are several key areas of responsibility, finance business partnering, reporting, systems improvements and general support to other roles within the wider finance team. To be successful in this role you will be highly commercial. You will very quicklydevelop a strong understanding of the business in order to identify both new opportunities, and margin improvements. You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. This role will be challenging, as your multiple priorities will changeas they operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Due to the nature of the role, you will ideally have the following:

- Part qualified or qualified by experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills for work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident using Excel (Pivots/VLookups)
- Creating commercial & insightful analysis and able to demonstrate using examples to inform decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of supplier charges to ensure all revenue is being invoiced in line with customer agreements.
- Completion of manual invoicing routines, including calculation of customer charges to a high degree of accuracy.
- Supplier cost management to ensure accurate costs are incurred with any issues being raised with the supplier.
- Leveraging internal products, such as 'Validator', to identify and resolve all anomalies in both cost and sale cash flows.
- Delivering Month-End reporting on accruals, provisions and supplementary analysis within agreed timelines.
- Ensuring that all relevant data sources are timely, accurate and complete
- Assisting ad-hoc queries from stakeholders across Sales, Accounts and Financial teams.
- Identifying areas of improvement that will result in increased efficiencies, productivity, controls, customer service and revenue across the business.
- Picking up ad-hoc projects as & when required.
