A UK law firm that are renowned for providing career development, are currently looking for a compliance Manager to join their team to help to enhance and develop their compliance programme.

In this role you will be responsible for the firm's compliance and regulatory commitments and processes. You will work closely and meet regularly with the Managing Partner, Director of Finance and Operational Board, leading on ensuring their regulatory requirements,best practice and quality standards are met, as well as providing risk expertise.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- The firm's compliance and regulatory commitments and processes.
- Providing advice to the business
- Managing the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Supporting the continual improvement of the compliance and risk processes
- Compliance regulatory change programme to implement necessary changes
- Acting as the firms Data Protection Officer and oversee GDPR and associated legislation compliance

**Experience required**:

- Ideally, you'll have experience of working in a law firm or professional services in a risk or compliance capacity.
- Experience of SRA or other professional regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, Financial crime, COB etc
- Experience of compliance or risk monitoring or review
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to demonstrate your ability to be Proactive, with attention to detail
