Due to expansion our client is looking to add a Fabricator / Welder to join their team on a temp to perm basis on regular days
- Fabrication and welding of machines from initial stages of sub-assembly trough to final fabrication of machines.
- Checking components to ensure they meet the specifications of the drawings
- Cutting and drilling of components required to facilitate fabrication
- Carry out all fabrication work in accordance with drawings provided
- Self-inspection of work,
- Use of MIG welding equipment, cutting equipment, saws, drilling machines and small hand tools to produce quality fabrications to tight tolerances.
- Fabrication of small assemblies and guards as required.
- Identifying any problems or discrepancies and reporting to Shop Floor Foreman.

**Required Skills**:

- Must have experience of fabrication/welding.
- Experience of machine building desirable
- Must have experience of cutting and drilling of materials
- Good housekeeping
- Experience of slinging and using overhead gantry cranes
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
