We are looking for an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our brand new team at Grove Park working on a bespoke 31 bedded nursing unit at our brand new luxurious facility on the outskirts of Brighton.

Do you have a passion for helping others? As part of our team you will be an essential team member promoting the well-being of our residents, and helping to them to get the most out of life.

You will be responsible for creating, organising and delivering a range of suitable activities as well as helping residents individually by assisting them with their ability to participate in activities and enabling them to achieve their goals. By spending quality time with the residents and their families to gain a full understanding of their interests and life history you will be able to develop meaningful activities.

The role will include:

- Initiate and implement person centred and group activities to engage residents and promote their wellbeing.
- To organise social evenings, encourage outings, organise short trips out, garden party, tea party and birthday celebrations.
- To provide reminiscence therapy to residents with impaired memory loss (training will be given).
- To organise a monthly residents meeting, provide minutes and liaise with wider team to disseminate learning and suggestions.
- To work as part of the team and a make a difference to people’s lives on a daily basis.

Salary dependent on experience.

**Salary**: Up to £11.25 per hour
