We are currently recruiting for a Financial Operations Manager to join our knowledgeable, dynamic, and growing team in Uxbridge. We are looking for highly motivated professionals with experience in team management and delivery of all requirements regardingcash management and client reporting.
You will be working within an established team that is a key part of Pepper's operations, and you will receive ample support so that you can be successful in your role.
Experience of the mortgage industry or even housing associations where you work with large portfolios /rent collections in a Finance Operations role would be a distinct advantage.
The role will be based out of our offices in Uxbridge, on a hybrid basis (home/office based).
As a Financial Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
**Management of financial reporting and financial processes for mortgage portfolios**:
- Managing the finance team reporting work schedule and deliverables on a monthly basis
- Reviewing financial reporting in relation to portfolios of mortgage accounts, including the preparation of ad hoc reports and the validation of systems generated reports
- Review and sign-off of monthly financial reports for external clients
- Review and sign-off of monthly bank reconciliations, cash balances, un-reconciled items and nominal postings across various portfolios
- Managing queries as they arise from clients and their auditors
- Responsible for the production of securitisation reporting for RMBS transactions
**Responsible Contract Management and Fee calculation**:
- Review and interpret the mortgage servicing contracts with our clients
- Preparation and validation of the monthly servicing invoices including calculation of the servicing fees
- Relationship management to ensure our invoices are paid in a timely manner
**Team Management**
- Overseeing workload of direct reports' treasury-related activities, including cash collections, cash transfers, bank reconciliations, and monitoring account balances
- Review of weekly workflow schedules and outputs
- Development and management of staff including training and mentoring

**Essential Skills**:
- You will need advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Phoebus will be of benefit but not essential
- Experience working for in Banking or Lending industries or Housing Associations in a finance operations capacity
- Educated to Degree level
- Strong team management experience overseeing direct reports.

- You will need to be self-reliant and self-motivated
- You will be detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines
- You will have the ability to form productive relationships at all levels
- You will have strong English verbal and written communication skills
