We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Assistant at Standard Life House.**

**Location: Lothian Rd, Edinburgh**

**Rate of pay: £10.90 per hour**

**Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday**

We are looking to grow our Hospitality Team within Standard Life on Lothian Road. You'll be setting up meeting rooms, serving lunches, looking after our V.I.P's and lots more. The role is predominantly daytime with the occasional evening event. When hospitality is a bit quieter, you'll help in the restaurant.

Key responsibilities
- Serve all food to the highest standard and in line with the CH&CO style using the correct tools and presentation techniques.
- Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the CH&CO standard.
- Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware is polished
- Keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable in line with the standards.
- Clean and wash up equipment, kitchen and service areas as necessary to comply with cleaning schedules.
- To present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers at the relevant event.
- Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner
- Provide information to customers about the food in a knowledgeable and informed manner.
