**About the Nursery**

This 100 place nursery is located in Flax Bourton on Old Weston Road, a quiet, leafy street a few minutes from the A370 which runs from Weston-Super-Mare all the way to central Bristol. The nursery offers all year round care for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years between 7.30am 6pm. Amazing facilities, fully resourced with wonderful outside experiences for children.

**About the role**

The nursery cooks all food in house and we are looking for a special someone to support our Catering Manager in providing exceptional food for our children. You should have an understanding of preparing nutritious meals for those with allergies and individual requirements as this is a high priority. Being passionate about cooking is a must-have and you should also be happy to work in a close team.

**Who we are looking for**
- Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food regulations and inspection criteria.
- Experience of working in busy kitchen
- Experience in working a small staff team.
- Identifying problems and creating solutions.
- This is a desirable position for someone with previous school or care home kitchen experience, but not essential.

**What we offer**
- Permanent, part-time (26 hours per week between Monday and Thursday, 10.30am 5.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break).

- 20 days holiday per annum rising to 25 plus all bank and public holidays.
