Female Personal Assistant

Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist a young adult with a Learning Disability living in the Hamilton area.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home and in the community including participation in social activities. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Walking, bowling, cycling, swimming, volunteering and assisting with participation in these activities
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Driver desirable and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs such as volunteering experience.
Favourite activities are socialising, dancing and music.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for 1 position
Guaranteed permanent position of 24 hours per week
**Days and times**:
Weekly rota
Typically - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
Occasional weekends and evenings may be required - to be discussed at interview
**Hourly rate**:
£12.00 per hour
