**Catering Assistant (Temp Ongoing)**

At Provide Education & Teachers UK, we are dedicated to connecting skilled educational professionals with schools that prioritise creating outstanding learning environments. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Catering Assistants to work in our partnered schools across the Leicester and surrounding local areas on a temporary ongoing basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food in accordance with the school’s menu and food safety guidelines..
- Serve meals to students and staff
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
- Wash up dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with checking and storing food deliveries
- Follow school policies and procedures regarding food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and food safety practices is beneficial.
