**Software Engineer**

**Bournemouth**

Software Engineer needed for a leading defense organisation based in Bournemouth. Our client is looking for someone that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of and able to be responsible for the provision of full solution lifecycle. If youhave relevant coding and full lifecycle system as a Software Engineer, we would love to hear from you.

**What the role entails**:
Some of the main duties of the Software Engineer will include:

- Supporting the software engineering aspects of projects
- Generating and maintaining high quality software documentation and gaining formal review approval for release
- Use of software engineering tools for requirements management, design modelling etc.
- Contribution to ongoing development and improvement of engineering/business processes
- Drafting and estimating the software engineering aspects of bid work
- Advising or mentoring less-experienced team members, including graduates or apprentices, on software engineering matters
- Delivering defined work packages/tasks to time, cost and quality

**What experience you need to be the successfulSoftware Engineer**:

- Educated to HND/ Degree kevel (or equivalent) in a software engineering related discipline
- Experience of software engineering in a safety regulated industry (desirable)
- Experience of software design and coding (C#, C++ and python all highly desirable)
- Ability to analyse customer & systems requirements to produce software requirements specifications.

**Please note that eligibility for security clearance is essential for this role.**
