We are currently looking for a **Head Receptionist **to join our team here at Murrayshall Country Estate.

**About Murrayshall**:

As a Head Receptionist**, **you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience is delivered at all times.

Your role will include:

- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring a smooth check in and out process is followed for guests at all times, adhering to our policies and procedures
- Being fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and able to assist with any queries
- Daily and weekly banking and Cash handling
- Ensuring that both the Front of House and Guest Relations are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
- Managing staff rotas and dealing with any staff issues, in conjunction with the Front of House Manager
- Managing the receptionists daily tasks and duties
- Maximising room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Assisting the Front of House Manager as directed, and deputising in his absence
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as requested.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Previous experience in a similar type role essential
- Friendly, courteous and helpful with excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.

**Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations**
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
- To take pride in your appearance as a brand ambassador
- To be able to problem solve and turn any negatives to positives
- To co-ordinate all guest feedback.
