Due to expansion in sales, we are seeking an additional experienced Warehouse Operative for our veterinary practice/warehouse based in Metheringham. We currently dispense to clients across the UK and EU, to independent food producers and other veterinary practices.
- Assist the warehouse team with preparing orders for dispatch via courier, ensuring daily deadlines are met as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock using warehouse management systems, this typically involves the use of a hand-held scanner; therefore, a good understanding of computerised systems is essential.
- Receiving deliveries, checking for damaged or missing items, and verifying against paperwork.
- Placing goods in designated storage areas, ensuring proper organisation and stock rotation according to established procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety procedures conforming to current legislative requirements.
