We are an intimate well established family run Wedding and Events Venue in situated in a beautiful riverside location in the heart of West Berkshire.

We are currently looking for a Cleaning Operative to help maintain the current high standards of presentation at our venue.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning of all Front of House public areas including toilets, bar, Ceremony rooms, main function rooms and main kitchen and limited outside areas/fixtures and fittings.
- Cleaning of staff communal areas, including (but not exclusive to) office, kitchen & toilets.
- Notify Management of any areas requiring attention/repair.
- Participating in the monitor of cleaning stock levels and notifying management if items are running low.
- Ensure all daily and weekly cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- To timorously carry out any reasonable requests made by a member of the Management team.
- Ensuring all equipment is stored in the correct places/manner and any defects in equipment is reported to a member of the Management team.
- Ensure all necessary preparations are in place for the Venue prior to functions, along with ensuring post function clean-up activities are completed.

- To be able to take personal responsibility and initiative in resolving issues, clearly communicating with both colleagues and Management where required.

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility to work weekends, early or late shifts.
- Experience preferrable, but not essential.
- Own transport an advantage, (whilst there are local transport links these are limited)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
