Head of Communications - Cryptocurrency Offers Fully Remote Working Salary £120,000 competitive with Bonus and Equity My client is a world leading cryptocurrency specialist business globally with a presence in over 35 countries. They are a forward-thinking company who has had huge success in first few years of trading. Offering three different services they accommodateconsumers and business from small to large enterprises. They have a number of global investors backing them with more in the pipeline. Now a series B hyper growth business within web 3, they are making a number of key hires across the business and hired Saltexclusively to help them with their search. **Responsibilities**: - Develop and execute a highly-effective "tier one" media strategy - Lead global pitching of proactive news stories to influential global media outlets - Coordinate with local teams across the organisation's globally decentralised team to ensure a coherent global story - Seek out content and partnership opportunities to promote thought leadership, including speaking engagements and platforms - Develop and manage internal and external communications strategy around issues and sensitivities, including positioning statements and reputation management - Monitor new legislation and compliance trends, opportunities and stories across the globe in the cryptocurrency sector - Develop crisis comms plans, holding statements and scenario planning for potential issues, including litigation, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity/breaches and more **Requirements**: - 7+ years of experience as a global communications leader for an internationally recognised technology or financial company. - You have the ability to manage complex issues quickly and effectively with a proven record of building successful communications campaigns. - In-depth knowledge of global media with deep understanding and relationships with key journalists. - Experience advising C-suite executives on media relations and issues management - Highly-effective team leader, with a proven track record in managing multi-country teams - Experienced in managing a broad network of PR agencies - Able to work autonomously with mínimal supervision and strong follow up skills; proactive and collaborative - Excellent project management and organisational skills; able to prioritise and work under pressure - Works well in a fast-paced environment - Experience working with media/reporters, notably in the financial, business or cryptocurrency sector - Experience in public policy or affairs and media
