**Multi Trade Carpenter**

**Covering South West / M4 Corridor**

**Location: Mobile**

Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.

Conduct general property maintenance and reactive repairs for commercial and residential properties.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using analytical skills.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service in all projects.
- Conduct property MOTs and void works as required.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary.

**Responsibilities**

The Multi Trade Carpenter will be carrying out:

- Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks, including intricate joinery work, custom installations, and structural repairs
- Conduct comprehensive property maintenance and reactive repairs for both commercial and residential properties
- Perform detailed property assessments, including MOTs and void works
- Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies
- Respond to emergency call-outs, providing swift and effective solutions
- Utilise advanced diagnostic techniques to identify complex faults and implement innovative solutions
- Collaborate with other trades to complete multi-faceted projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022

**Qualifications / Experience**

To be successful in the Multi Trade Carpenter role you must have:

- NVQ Level 2 (Ideally Level 3) in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
- At least 5 years' experience in carpentry in commercial properties
- Full UK Driving Licence

Ideal additional experience:

- Ideally Fire Door Installation and Maintenance certification from a recognized body
- Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Order (2005)
- Proficiency with project management tools, particularly OneTrace
- Additional certifications in related trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical work) are highly desirable
