**Purpose of the role**
As a Production Operative in our Butchery department you will help to prepare products for sale in restaurants and supermarkets across the UK. Full training will be given within a 36 week programme to help gain the skills needed to be able to produce different cuts of meat to the right standards.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Training to use a knife to butcher, de-bone or portion cuts of meat.
- Achieving agreed quality standards relating to temperature, grading, wrapping and presentation.
- Minimising downtime of equipment through proper set-up and line change overs.
- Weighing and packing products ready for despatch.
- Manual handling, lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
- Adhering to health and safety riles at all times.
- Completing tasks in-line with food safety and hygiene rules.

**Working Hours**:
Tuesday - Saturday, 07:00 - 16:00
