**About this Job -**

We are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Support Worker to support a lovely little boy with cerebral palsy. In order to help him live his daily life in at home with his family he needs support with all activities of daily living, whilst also being encouraged to be independent in play and to learn new skills. Staff will transport the child to hydro pool sessions, to and from respite centre. Staff have access to his own vehicle to take him on days out. The child requires 2 staff members at all times.

We have both full and part time roles for someone who can work the following shift patterns available:

- Monday-Friday mornings 07.00-10.00
- Tuesday and Thursday evenings 16.00-20.00
- 14:00-18:00 - Wednesday
- Saturday
- full day times can alter
- Occasional Respite cover 24 hours a day

The person we support has the following clinical interventions:

- Moving & Assisting - with use of mobility aids
- Gastrostomy - feed, medications and balloon management
- Epilepsy
- General Medications -including Transdermal Patches

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as you will receive training tailored to this person’s specific needs.
