We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join the team at **_Benugo Cafe at John Lewis in Edinburgh_**

JOB SUMMARY
- Support and uphold Benugo vision around People, Product, Customers and Profitability
- Engage and efficiently communicate with customers making them feel welcome and encouraging them to come back
- Engage with the team in a collaborative and constructive manner
- Communicate with your colleagues and peers in a professional manner at all times
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to the customer, your job and your colleagues at all times
- Actively participate and contribute towards achieving goals
- Work within Benugo policies and procedures at all times Site Operations
- Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop and act as deputy in their absence
- Organise the team on each shift and allocate duties as necessary
- Train, support and develop the team to deliver consistently excellent results, measuring their performance using the appropriate tools
- Maintain availability of product and staff to required levels
- Communicate with FOH and BOH team to ensure product excellence and availability, correct ordering and stock control
- Offer suggestions for improvement of existing processes Customer service - Monitor customer comments and constantly look for improvement
- Investigate any complaints and ensure that corrective action is taken where relevant
- Have a presence on site throughout the day especially at peak times to identify or solve issues
