**NEW ROLE (BATHGATE) - Warehouse Assistant Supervisor PM Shift**

**Hourly rate**: £13.75

**Shift**: Sunday - Thursday 17:30 - 03:00 (45 hours) Potential for overtime

Bond International is a major distributor of tyres in the UK. We shall be opening a new depot in **Bathgate **in addition to our six existing depots to accommodate our expanding business. We are looking for a **Warehouse Assistant Supervisor** to join our new depot.

Bond International operates a B2B tyre distribution service and acts as a dedicated 3PL to some of the leading tyre brands. We cover the entirety of the UK and deliver to independent and chain garages alike.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed individual with good experience of warehouse management and a strong history of managing people to establish and develop our **Bathgate** warehouse operation as part of that team.

**Warehouse Assistant Supervisor duties**
- Assisting with recruitment to your shift.
- Training and developing the people in your team.
- Motivating and leading your team.
- Managing all aspects of the team’s work as part of the warehouse operation.
- Achieving and maintaining high warehouse service levels to our customers.
- Assisting with the management of equipment in the warehouse.
- Establishing and maintaining a strong health and safety culture and health and safety systems.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Warehouse Supervisor
- Experience in same day and next day pick/pack operations
- Experience in high volume and high SKU warehouse profiles
- Experience in managing teams of 10+
- Able to work in time-critical operations
- Capable of developing, and working in-line with process driven operations
- A people-first leader

**Qualifications and skills**
- Good experience of warehouse management.
- Good experience of managing people.
- Good communication and other interpersonal skills.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of and respect for health and safety law essential.
- Good IT skills. (MS Office, WMS)
- Counterbalance and/or Reach truck preferred

**To start February 2024 (Training would commence on day shift hours)**

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

**Experience**:

- First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Fire Marshall Certificate (preferred)
