**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair activities.
- Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring all tools are returned after use.

**Skills**
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to mechanical work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients effectively.
- A proactive approach to learning new techniques and technologies in the field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £15.60 per hour

Expected hours: 55 per week
