Barista/waitress

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other refreshments. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your role will involve engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and promote our menu offerings.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented well.
- Manage time effectively to handle peak service periods while maintaining quality service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Shift would be every Saturday and every other Sunday. overtime may be available on other Sunday when needed.

**Skills**
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques within a kitchen or culinary setting is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.

Pay: £8.36-£11.44 per hour
