**Young Persons Support Worker/ £20,000 per annum/ Southport**

We are looking for motivated and caring individuals to take on a support worker role within the **Southport area.**
Looking after young people with **specific learning difficulties and Autism**, this role is perfect for individuals who are motivated to make a difference.
Based within a residential home and specialist college, this role is focused on promoting the independence and life skills of the individual to prepare them for the next stage of their lives.
Day to day you will be organising activities within the local community, supporting with domestic duties and educational work, and assisting with personal care and medication distribution when required.
**Hours and pay**:
- £10.57 per hour, £10.67 after probation
- 7:30-16:00 and 15:30-22:00
- Waking night shifts are available (22:00 - 07:30)
- Full-time, permanent position.
**Requirements**:
- NVQ L3 (desirable)
- Driver (desirable)
- Previous experience within a support worker role
- Understanding of Autism and other learning needs
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: £10.57-£10.67 per hour
