I am working with a Government Department based in Newcastle who are looking for a number of experienced Commercial Finance Business Partners for 7 months initially.

The roles are full time, to start ASAP and paying £450 - £550 Umbrella per day. The roles are inside IR35.

They offer flexible and hybrid working and you will be required to go into the office in Newcastle-upon-Tyne as and when needed.
- Develop payment methodology options with key stakeholders to support government contracts using sound financial controls.
- Bid evaluation to support procurement of critical department services
- Providing financial analysis to support provider financial negotiations.
- Operate an open book contract management approach to support our senior managers and our external contractors to drive up performance and improve value for money.
- Manage financial risk in accordance with the Outsourcing Playbook, ensuring early warning and effective mitigation strategies are in place to support the business

**Experience Required**
- Financial analysis and modelling skills
- Experience in a Commercial Finance/Outsourcing environment
- Understanding of financial accounts and analysis techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, to multi task and work across boundaries, demonstrating resilience.
- Excellent collaboration and partnering skills.
- Qualified Accountant is preferred however part-qualified will be considered

**Selection Criteria**
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and present in a concise easily understandable format.
- Sound understanding of financial accounts including ratios and trend analysis to identify emerging risks with supplier financial position
- Able to develop and maintain working relationships across team boundaries
