We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Homecare team as a Senior Support Worker.

This role is 20 hours per week working night shifts on a two week rolling rota including weekends.

As a Senior, you will lead and motivate your team to provide care and support to help people maintain independence.
- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of Pay - £10.80 per hour, increasing to £11.10 per hour upon completion of 6 months service
- Hours of Work - 20 hours per week on 10 a hour shift.
- Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- **About you**:_
- You will need to be a good communicator who can demonstrate the ability to make decisions and to motivate and lead a team to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
- You should have previous experience working in a care environment and of administering medication alongside knowledge of risk assessments and support planning.
- The ability to work independently and deal with potentially stressful situations is a must, along with the ability to treat others with dignity and respect at all times.
- Flexibility is essential as shifts are on a rota basis and include alternate weekend working.

We provide domiciliary care on a planned basis to the residents of Buckshaw Retirement Village, Chorley both alongside Social Services and on a private basis. The village, which is just over ten years old, is a purpose built top quality retirement complex created as part of the Buckshaw Village development. Our service, which hast been awarded “Good” in all areas by CQC, is available for any resident who feels that they need support with their personal care.

The Retirement Village provides a unique approach by combining beautiful, purpose-built accommodation with a dynamic and lively activity and wellbeing programme alongside access to 24-hour care and support. The village is home to our on-site bistro and bar, hairdressing salon, village shop and wellbeing suite.
