**Building Surveyor - Refurbishment - FRA**

**Up to £46,000 + Bonus**

Here at Howells we are working with a reputable Construction Contractor to recruit a Building Surveyor, working across a variety of sectors including: housing, education, health, care, blue light, commercial, and regeneration and mixed use.

As a Building Surveyor, you will work with a wide range of clients, supporting them in managing their property portfolios and transactions. You will be responsible for advising on the technical risks associated with the refurbishment and regeneration of properties, providing a highly professional competent service, with experience and exemplary customer service.

The client is looking for someone who is forward thinking, dedicated, enthusiastic, accountable and driven in their approach to any task they are given.

Key duties include:

- Inspection of building
- Preparation of technical due diligence reports
- Building pathology surveys
- Monitoring construction work and the performance of project design teams
- Producing reports to clients and engaging on face to face value
- Travelling to appointments around Surrey and the South.
- Experienced in dealing with Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, Defect diagnosis and Contract Administration
- Must have good knowledge of current Building Regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£46,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

- Tandridge, Surrey: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
