Now celebrating our 30th year, Creative Support remains a not for profit organisation focused on delivering an excellent standard of care and support to vulnerable people across England. We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to join our established teams of Support Workers and Home Care Support Workers across the Barrow-in-Furness area where we provide support to individuals in their own homes and also to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and physical disabilities in a supported living service.

We provide all of our Support Workers with:

Experience is desirable but not essential for either of these roles. If you feel you have a caring, compassionate nature all of the skills you need can be taught by our excellent in house training team who have recently been awarded the Investors in People Gold award for their wonderful work.

**Being a car driver is essential for the homecare role.**

Homecare Support Worker duties can include:

- Working flexibly according to the needs of the service, to include both days, nights and weekends on a rota basis,
- Respect and promote the rights and entitlements of people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and physical disabilities and to enable them to participate as fully as possible in their communities and to maintain community connections,
- To provide dignified and respectful personal care in accordance with the needs, wishes and preferred routines outlined in the individual’s personal support plans,
- To support service users in maintaining the safety, security, cleanliness and comfort of their homes,
- To be responsive to changing needs and preferences of service users.

**We expect all applicants to Creative Support to have had at least their first COVID-19 vaccination prior to starting employment with us and to be committed to having the second vaccination within a 3 month period.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-37.5 per week

**Salary**: Up to £9.70 per hour
