Highways Supervisor

A leading Highways maintenance and service provider are recruiting for a Highways Supervisor to cover their Hounslow deport

**Job Purpose**:
To assist in the provision of Highways Repairs and Maintenance. To be responsible for the direct control of operatives and individual work sites, to carry out all works in a safe and cost-effective manner in line with company policies, processes, and procedures, to achieve customer satisfaction
- Manage a team of operatives to effectively deliver highways maintenance services including but not limited to; scheduled and reactive maintenance to modular and tarmac footways and carriageway, street furniture, street lighting, drainage and winter maintenance
- Prioritise tasks to avoid performance target failures
- Accurate submission of reports including payroll and papyrus, invoice management.
- Focus on health and safety of operatives, colleagues and the public
- Take part in winter maintenance service
- To actively foster a positive staff morale.
- To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
- Experience of Contract Management & NEC Contracts
- Clear understanding of cost, value and profit maximization principles
- Understanding of Project Management Principles including scheduling, Risk & Opportunities Management,
- Trained in key areas of materials management, safety, traffic management.
- Steady work record with experience in a supervisory or highways maintenance role
- Enthusiastic, team player
- Flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
