The Portland Hospital have expanded their Paediatric service and have a fantastic opportunity for a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join their inpatient Neuro rehab, complex care ward.
For a limited time, we are offering a £10,000 welcome bonus to nurses that successfully join the team (T&Cs apply).
As a Paediatric Staff Nurse, working in the Neurorehabilitation and complex care inpatient ward, you will be responsible and accountable for the assessment of required care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for children on our general medical ward.
You will be working to promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the speciality.
Staff Nurse-Paediatric Neurorehabilitation & Complex Care
Location: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children-London
Hours: 37.5hrs pw (shifts: long days, nights & Weekend shifts)
**Salary**: Competitive salary dependent on skills & experience + shifts enhancements and benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
Skills & Experience:
NMC Child Registered Nurse with basic paediatric life support
Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable.
Understanding of Safeguarding issues and clinical governance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within a team and independently

The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women's Health.
The hospital has been consistently growing over the past few years. Our Paediatric wards hold 53 inpatient beds, including 11 day case beds and are equipped with the latest technology to provide advanced medical and surgical care. The 14 bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit reflects the acuity and complex nature of the children who are admitted to our hospital.
This role is based in our Paediatric Neurorehab and Complex care ward (13 beds)
