Home-Start Warrington supports families who have at least one child under the age of five in the household, who are going through a difficult time. Volunteers receive full, free training to provide friendly emotional and practical support to families. Home-Start Warrington also run playgroups for our supported families to attend. Currently we run an outdoor playgroup on Monday's and an indoor playgroup on Thursday's. We are looking for a Playgroup Volunteer to assist Home-Start Warrington staff in setting up and running playgroup sessions
Main responsibilities:
To help staff in setting up the playgroup session
To help staff in clearing up after the session
To support parents during the session
To inform staff of any concerns about the welfare of any families attending the playgroup
To undertake any training necessary for the role
