Senior Cloud Consultant - £65,000 - £75,000 - Consultancy - Fully Remote

Overview:
A leading managed service provider are looking for a Senior Cloud Consultant with a strong skillset in Microsoft Azure to join one of their growing divisions on a remote basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Implementation of Azure Cloud Landing Zones, IAAS and PAAS
- Implementation of Microsoft Modern Management solutions and technologies
- Attend customer opportunity and strategy meetings, including presenting solutions from a commercial and business perspective
- Act as a technical lead for large scale projects for design decisions or technical escalations
- Proactively work with Solution Architects, Project Management and Stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Produce High
- and Low-Level Design Documentation
- Produce prerequisites documentation and end user training material/support
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the team proactively contributing to internal consulting documentation and seminars
- Conduct Quality Assurance of documentation

Technical Requirements:

- Hands on experience with Azure services ideally gained in a consultancy environment
- Experience as a technical lead for project delivery
- In-depth knowledge deploying and migrating to Microsoft Cloud solutions

- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Exchange,
- Working Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware ESXI
- Working knowledge of standard networking
- Scripting knowledge including PowerShell, Power Automate

Desirable:

- Experience relevant to Public Cloud migrations, especially technologies such as Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, IIS, SQL, Windows, and Linux Operating Systems
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of DevOps methodology and tooling
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate

oAZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
oAZ-301&304: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
oMS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
oMS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
