A premier independent care provider - one of the UK’s top 25 companies to work for in 2021 - is now looking for an empathetic **Healthcare Assistant (HCA)** to join their newly-opened, “Good”-rated home in Herne Bay, which provides tailored and person-centred residential and dementia care within an acutely modern, deluxe setting.

As the home is purpose-built, it was specifically designed with the residents in mind, and so provides the perfect place for residents to relax in the lovely lounges and outside spaces, get involved with the wide range of stimulating activities on offer
- including music and dance sessions, arts therapies, pamper days, therapy dog visits, and more - and receive exceptional care that preserves independence and encourages memory recollection.

As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will support the residents to live well and keep active in a friendly and caring environment. Depending on your experience, you may join the home as a:

- Junior Care Assistant - if you are brand new to care and willing to learn.
- Care Home Assistant - if you have some previous experience with elderly care.
- Senior Care Assistant - if you have NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

This is a **permanent** HCA role, with contracts available for 24 hours (Junior Care Assistant), 33 hours (Care Home Assistant, days or nights) and 44 hours (in a Senior or nights-only Care Assistant role) per week.

**Person specification**:
You **_must_** have an empathetic approach, a can-do attitude and great communication skills.

Previous experience in elderly care is **beneficial but not required**.
