The Malthouse is a busy pub, restaurant and events venue, with 250+ covers across the property. One day you might be working in our restaurant area, the next day you could be serving our BBQ menu in the gardens, or could be helping to run one of our many private events.

Every day is different, and The Malthouse provides a fun and exciting place to work and learn.

We are looking for an ambitious front of house and events team member who is bubbly and outgoing to join the Malthouse team You will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, to ensure the smooth running of the venue, and ensuring all of your guests have a great time with us.

Our ideal team member will have:

- **At least two years** of experience serving tables and managing a section.
- A passion to provide efficient, but informal customer service to diners and guests
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in a fresh food led venue
- The ability to maintain a positive demeanour whilst under pressure
- You will be able to communicate clearly with managers and other staff and love working in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen interest to learn
- A love for going the extra mile for our guests
- A passion to provide great drinks to a given spec for our customers
- Working knowledge of draught products, real ales, wines and spirits
- Experience using a coffee machine and making cocktails is preferred but not essential
