**At voco Haymarket Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant**

We are looking for someone who can commit to at least 16 hours per week. Being flexible would be a great plus

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days. At voco Hotels we are reliably different, the trusted name above the door but with a distinctive character. We believe that everyone is a host and are looking for someone who can help us create memorable experiences for our guests.

We are paying £12 per hour, all hours worked paid for.

As a Maintenance Assistant your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting our Maintenance team to work behind the scenes and ensure that our Hotel is a safe environment for guests and team members, working on ad hoc-jobs and communicating with the wider Hotel teams to fix problems when they arise (and predicting them before they do).

To thrive in this role, the key skills & experience you’ll ideally already have are:

- Experience working as a Maintenance assistant, Plumber, Electrician or Painter/Decorator
- Willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team
- Creative problem solver
